The Bagel Bash: breakfast networking before the show floor opens

Our signature event, and one of several ways the community gathers. A morning of bagels, coffee and conversation held alongside major cannabis conferences, built for the people who would rather meet over a schmear than shout over a booth.

Why a bagel breakfast instead of an after-party?

Every trade show already has a party circuit. By the second night, the rooms are loud, the conversations are short and nobody remembers who they met. The morning is different. People are rested, curious and still planning their day, which makes it the best hour of the conference to make a real introduction.

So we feed them. Bagels and schmear, coffee, and a room with enough space to move around. Some Bashes include a few words from a host, a sponsor or a special guest, and some are pure schmoozing. Either way, the point is to talk.

What does it feel like to walk in?

Loud in the best way. Someone will hand you a coffee before you find the name tags. You will hear Yiddish from people who do not speak Yiddish, meet at least one person who knows your cousin, and leave with a list of people to find on the floor. Press who have covered the Bash describe the same thing: a room that is joyful and authentic, and buzzing before the show even starts. See for yourself in the 2026 recaps from Ventura, Boston and Chicago.

Who makes each Bash happen?

Local hosts and sponsors. The California edition at Hall of Flowers was hosted by Luna Stower and presented by Hefestus Technologies and Safe Harbor Financial. The Long Island edition was a partnership with the Long Island Capital Alliance. Sponsors make each Bash possible, along with the calls and gatherings that happen the rest of the year, and they are thanked by name at every event and in the newsletter. Bagel Bash questions

What time does a Bagel Bash start?

Early. Most Bashes open around 8 AM on a conference morning and wrap before the exhibit hall opens. The Long Island Capital Alliance edition ran from 8 to 11 AM, and Hall of Flowers NYC runs from 8 to 10 AM.

Which conferences have hosted a Bagel Bash?

In 2026 alone the Bash has run alongside Hall of Flowers in Ventura, NECANN in Boston, IgniteIt in Chicago and the Long Island Capital Alliance in Melville. Chicago is already on its second edition.

How do I RSVP for a Bagel Bash?

Each Bash has its own RSVP link, posted on our events page and sent to newsletter subscribers first. Space is set by the venue, so RSVP early.

Can we bring a Bagel Bash to our conference?

Yes. We look for shows with a real cannabis professional audience and a venue within walking distance of the hall. Email high@jewsinweed.com with your dates and expected attendance.
